UGH!!!

Why the freak can't my 5th grader understand money concepts such as getting change? My second grader doesn't know warm blooded and cold blooded and she can't tell time or identify coins and their worth? The things I am finding out about them after pulling them out of school are very disturbing to me!!!! So frustrated and having to teach them stuff they should know already! Oh but they have tons of awards from school! Go figure...
